Cedar Rose Vineyards exists to provide a friendly, fun, and relaxing atmosphere for people who enjoy wine as much as we do. In order to maintain this for every guest, please review the following information to ensure the best experience for you and fellow visitors.
Tastings, Glasses, & Bottles:
During regular business hours we offer tastings, glasses, and bottles of wine available for purchase and on-site enjoyment.
Tastings are $10 each, and include 8 samples, and a souvenir wine glass to take home.
Glass and bottle prices vary. Please see Our Wines page for our current wine menu.
Last call for tastings and all glass and open bottle sales is 30 minutes prior to close. After this time we will be more than happy to offer you a bottle to take home and enjoy. Please check our current business hours here.
In the warmer months dogs are welcome to join you during your visit, but outside only please. Our tasting room is small and this is to accommodate guests who may not love Fido as much as you do, or perhaps have an allergy.
Dogs must be leashed at all times, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them. Don’t forget to bring a water bowl, which we’ll happily fill for you! Treats to keep them busy and happy are encouraged as well.
Excessive barking or aggressive behavior towards guests or other dogs will not be tolerated and we reserve the right to ask both owner and pup to leave. As dog lovers ourselves, we understand some dogs are talkers but this is to maintain a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for everyone!
At this time we do not offer public tours, but on occasion if a member of management is available and there is no activity going on in the production area we be may able to accommodate a request for one.
Private groups may be able to schedule a tour, but this must be done at least three weeks in advance.
Our vineyards surround our tasting room, so the vines are only a few feet away where responsible adults are able to get a close up look of the plants our life and work revolve around.
Designed with you in mind, our downstairs tasting room has large windows and access points where you can see the bulk of our production area and barrel room. Head to the upstairs room for a bird’s eye view of the place!
At this time outside food is allowed, but we do ask that you clean up after yourself and be respectful of the space and other guests around you.
We do prefer on nights we host food trucks that outside food not be brought in, out of respect for our vendors.
We do offer a light charcuterie menu with local Italian meats, Amish cheeses, and extras such as fresh bruschetta, nuts, and dried fruits.
Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. Non-alcoholic drinks are welcome, and we do sell bottled water and select sodas in the tasting room for your convenience as well.
Groups of 6 or more are required to call or email ahead at least 48 hours in advance to let us know about your arrival. Please note, we do not take reservations, as our space is small and is first come, first serve, but we appreciate the heads up in order to try to accommodate your group.
We strive to be a place for families of all ages to come and have a fun, enjoyable, and relaxing experience. Children are allowed, but those under 21 years of age must be supervised and accompanied by an adult at all times. Anyone at the bar who appears to be underage will be asked for proper identification.
We have yard games and a large lawn for everyone to enjoy, we just ask that you be respectful of the property, games, and other guests around you. For everyone’s safety, please do not play near the vineyard or parking lot, and return the games back the way you found them for the next guests to enjoy.
We, like other wineries in the state, are a winery, not a bar. Our goal is to be a place for wine lovers to come and enjoy, learn about, and experience our wines in the peaceful country side that surrounds us. Loud and disorderly behaviors are distractions to others trying to enjoy their visit with us.
